Yesterday, Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos presented its project on the renewal and expansion of the Arnhem Museum to a large audience.

Our office of Holland presented the project in all simple steps they looking for the unit, key, in our view, to the future success of the Museum. The proposed interventions can be summarised in the demolition of the old extensions, adding to a respectful distance two pavilions in the garden that mark the entrance and part of the ancient monument. This gesture is embedded to the Museum with force, but respecting, at the same time, the urban landscape. The new interior provides access to the new underground exhibition halls and the dome, as a sequence of spaces and atmospheres.
