Antonio Cruz closes the series ‘Grada | Geografías’ with a reflection on the Olympic Stadium of theCommunity of Madrid, known as ‘La Peineta’, currently transformed into the Cívitas Metropolitano. This capsule highlights the emblematic relationship between the stands, the stadium and its structure, underlining the exclusive use of reinforced concrete as the main material.
Accompanied by photographs by Duccio Malagamba, the capsule captures the evolution of the stadium, which
is now the home of the Atlético de Madrid football club, remaining an icon of sports architecture.
