Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos begin the renovation and extension works of the football stadium “Estadio La Cartuja”
Renovation and enlargement work begins on La Cartuja stadium to convert it into a football and events stadium. The remodelling of La Cartuja stadium, designed by Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos, will increase its capacity by approximately 12.000 seats, reaching a total of around 70,000 spectators, enabling the stadium to become a 5-star stadium according to UEFA classification.
