Antonio Cruz and Antonio Ortiz (Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos) have been elected Honorary Members of the American Institute of Architects.
The appointment is one of the greatest recognitions of the American institution to those colleagues who, from outside the United States, have contributed significantly to the advance of architecture and society.
This year, along with Antonio Cruz and Antonio Ortiz receive the distinction Guillermo Vázquez Consuegra and Kris Yao Hon of Taiwan.
The recognition ceremony will be held in Chicago on June 27.
