Awarded by the World Football Summit, the global congress on the football industry held in Spain, in the category <em>Best Venue</em> of the <em>WFS Industry Awards </em>to the best stadium in the world, in an act held in Madrid during the 3<sup>rd</sup> edition of said congress. These awards recognize the work of the people and organizations that stand out most in the promotion and development of the football industry. For the prize different aspects are valued, such as the experience of the fan (in the stadium or through new technologies); operability during game days; the access, personalized attention; amenities; catering and security. In their category, the Wanda Metropolitano competed with CenturyLink field and Mercedes Benz Stadium.
