Antonio Cruz and Antonio Ortiz have been selected as members of the Honorary Fellowship of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). This organization, founded in 1857, represents the interests of the North American architects, similar to the way CSAE, Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos, does in Spain. Currently it consists of more than 90,000 members of which, at the same time, only a few are selected to form part of the College of Fellows of the institute with the title FAIA. Acompanied in this reduced list of the ¨Honorary Fellowship¨ are other architects such as Rafael Moneo, Enrique Sobejano, or Fuensanta Nieto; as well as other European architects of equally prestigious recognition such as Alvaro Siza y Eduardo Souto de Moura.
