The design presents a clear duality. On the one hand. the most specific functions, linked to the activity of the control centre and concentrated around the control rooms and equipment, and the corresponding logistics, resulted in a compact and autonomous building, capable of solving both relations of proximity of the different work areas as well as expressing the extreme interrelationship necessary for the technical and technological level of a virtually self-sufficient building.
On the other hand, a number of less specific functions, linked to the reception of people outside the centre and to other support activities such as relaxation areas, cafeteria, gym, etc., give rise to a body of a single floor, which provides an excellent relationship with landscaped outdoor spaces and that appears to be only connected by a stem to the main building.
