One year after the inauguration of the renovated Rijksmuseum, ARCAM stages a fascinating look back. Led by three protagonists that were deeply involved in this large and complex work, attention is focused especially on the way in which architecture and technical installations were integrated. What were the conditions and limitations that had to be dealt with? And how did the parties involved succeed in bringing this feat to a conclusion? An evening with three short presentations, followed by a talk.
Speakers: Antonio Ortiz and Muriel Huisman (Cruz y Ortiz arquitectos)
Tim Zeedijk (Rijksmuseum, Head Exhibitions) Karsten Jurkait (Arup, Project Leader Services Installations & Building Physics)
English spoken.
