Unique Artwork transforms atrium in Philips Wing of Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos. 100,000 dried petals constitute the monumental artwork Tulip Palepai by the Amsterdam artist Jennifer Tee exposed in the Philips Wing in The Rijksmuseum from 17 February 2017 till 21 May 2017. Tee’s 18-metre-long artwork was commissioned by Amsterdam’s City Council for the new metro entrance hall at Centraal Station. A digital reproduction of this unique artwork will be on view from 2018.
