During the 2nd edition of Open House Seville (International Architecture Festival), on the 20th October, Cruz y Ortiz opened the doors of its studio to show the different uses and spaces to a large number of attendees.
On the other hand, the housing in María Coronel Street (1976), the “Picasso” Building (2016) and the Hotel Mercer (2016), all of them projects by Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos, were some of the buildings selected by the organisation to visit during the Festival.
The Open House Worldwide is an annual festival that since 1992 and during 3 days, shows for free emblematic buildings of the most important cities in the world. In 2022 Seville became part of the Open House cities.
Cruz y Ortiz celebrates this type of initiatives to promote the importance of good architecture, design and urban planning.
